Beatrice Simpson, MS, LPC, Independent Consultant

Beatrice received a master degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has lived in Alaska since 2014. She will be working for Changing Tides on a part-time base so her office hours are Tues and Thursday evenings  (6-8 pm) and Fridays (10-2).  She enjoys work with the adult population specializing in complex trauma and dissociation.  She is currently accepting new adult clients.  Please contact Beatrice Simpson directly at 907-343-9221 or email her at Beatrice.changingtides@gmail.com.

Beatrice is proud to be apart of Changing Tides Child and Family Enrichment Center. She has experience working with children, adolescent and adult clients.  She worked at North Star Behavioral Health Hospital and is presently work for Chris Kyle Patriot Hospital, where she sees adult military (active and veterans) population with substance abuse, depression, anxiety and PTSD.  Beatrice holds certificates in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Trauma-Focused CBT from the Medical University of South Carolina, a Certificate in Prolonged Exposure from Kognito, and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals.  She is EMDR trained and is certified in Veterans Behavioral Health through Relias Learning. Beatrice is a compassionated, caring and genuine clinician who looks forward to walking the path of healing with each one of her clients.
